What are the longest lasting tropical flowers?

Anthuriums usually last from 7 to 14 days depending on care and variety, while Dendrobium Orchids may last from 5 to 8 days. Tropicals vary widely, but should last up to 5 days for the most delicate, 8 days for the hardier types. All of this depends not only on the flower care in the home, but also the climatic conditions. All tropical flowers need fresh water, misting, and avoidance of heat sources and drafts.

Will my bouquet come pre-arranged?

Your beautiful cut flower bouquets will arrive via FedEx in a specially prepared floral shipping container. Your flowers will be ready for you to arrange in their own special way. Easy arranging instructions, a photo and any needed materials are included with each order.

How should tropical flowers be arranged?

If you wish a loose flower arrangement, clip the ends of each stem at an angle for the flower to feed better and place the stems in either the vase you ordered or your own vase. You can also cut some of the stems shorter than others to vary height. Trim the flowers as you see fit to achieve a pleasing overall shape - this leaves the flowers available for regular trimming so they stay fresh the longest. If you wish a more planned arrangement place the stems one at a time on the counter or in one hand until you're happy with the look, tie the stems together with either a rubber-band or tie-wrap, and trim the bottom of the stems.

How will I know when my order has shipped?

We will send a confirmation email to the email address you enter on your checkout form. This will include the shipper's tracking number and a quick link to the tracking details page on their website.

Can I change the delivery address?

As long as your order has not been shipped we will be happy to change the delivery address. If the shipment is in route FedEx charges an approximate $15 fee for address changes made after the order has been shipped and before it has been delivered. Please contact us with any changes in delivery information as soon as possible.

Does choosing Overnight Delivery mean my order will arrive tomorrow?

No. Remember to add in the processing time for your items. Once processed, FedEx either takes one or two days to deliver your order depending on delivery location and the delivery option you chose. Also, please keep in mind that orders are not delivered on FedEx holidays or weekends unless Saturday Delivery is available.

Do you accept special requests?

Of course! Special request are no problem. Please inquire about the color substitutions or other requests you have by contacting us via phone, fax or e-mail.

What are your payment methods?

We accept major credit cards including: American Express, MasterCard and Visa

Are there taxes on my order?

Taxes will only be added to local orders being delivered to Hawaii.

Will you send me special offers and let me know about your sales?

Occasionally, Aloha Hawaiian Flowers and Gifts will extend various offers to our valued Ohana (family) of customers. Each mailing will include opt-out instructions if you no longer wish to receive e-mailings.
