Our flowers are picked fresh daily, washed and inspected, and delivered with care from our farms to your home or office. You can place your order as early as you like! We welcome early orders, because it gives us time to plan our inventory. However, even if you place your order last minute, don't worry, orders can usually be sent out the next business day after you place your order, for an additional FedEx charge (overnight shipping to West Coast states). We use FedEx 2-day service to ship all orders directly to your doorstep. Shipments go out on weekdays only for delivery on weekdays only, for example: orders going out on Monday will arrive on Wednesday, orders going out on Tuesday will arrive on Thursday, orders going out on Wednesday will arrive on Friday. FedEx will not deliver on weekends or Federal Holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day). Street addresses and zip codes are required. FedEx does not accept PO Box addresses. We urge you to include phone numbers with your delivery address, and we suggest that a signature be required for delivery and that you notify your recipient to the expected arrival of a package.
Based upon the destination and shipping method you have chosen we will schedule the appropriate day for your package to be shipped to arrive on your requested date.
Holidays: During holiday periods, it may be necessary to make delivery the day BEFORE or AFTER the requested date. Please specify in the comments if you want us to cancel the order in the event that delivery is not possible on the requested date.
We deliver to Western States Tuesday-Friday, on the date you specify. Western States include: Alaska, Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.
We deliver to the Midwest and East Coast Wednesday-Friday, on the date you specify. Please read our shipping policies and make sure to select the correct service (next day or 2 day) for your desired delivery date. Orders placed requesting a delivery date that we cannot fulfill (for example a Sunday or Monday delivery date) will be shipped out on the next possible date. If you need to cancel an order that has not yet shipped, we are happy to do so and offer you a store credit for another purchase, or refund monies back to your credit card minus a $20.00 order cancellation fee. We always choose the only the freshest flowers for our customers. Sometimes substitutions may be necessary due to seasonality of certain plants and flowers. If this occurs we will always substitute the closest match to your order with regard to color and species.
Our flowers are packed in specially-reinforced boxes. Based upon the handling requirements unique to each type of flower, packing of the flowers is usually in a specialize container that is: misted, wrapped in florist's plastic sheets or wax paper, loose enough for good air-flow, surrounded with shredded newspaper to provide insulation and cushioning, an outside layer of newspaper and decorative florist's wax paper, and Care Instructions are always included. Gift Cards can be included when requested on the final Order Form.
During cold weather or extremely hot weather we strongly encourage customers to use available winter packing and gel packs available at check-out for additional cost. This is to ensure the freshness of your flowers upon arrival at their final designation.
Please note that our flower bouquets are shipped in boxes without the vase. Many of our tropical flowers are heavy and require a heavily weighted lead based glass vase to keep them from tipping over. Although this can be found at many mainland locations very inexpensively, it would be cost prohibitive with their weight, since our shipping with Fed Ex is based upon weight, and the fact that they are glass means there is a possibility of breakage. We opted to save our customers money and suggest Target, Walmart, or any glassware store for an inexpensive glass vase for your lovely Hawaiian flowers. Mahalo!
FedEx provides a couple of shipping methods for delivery of your shipment.
FedEx Economy Air typically arrives on the second business day after shipment and is delivered before 7:00 PM for most destinations. Economy air is Uninsured.
FedEx Express Air typically arrives on the next business day after shipment and is delivered before 4:30 PM for Western States. Extra delivery charges apply.

We calculate the price of shipping your order based upon the weight of the package that will be shipped, rather than allocate shipping cost per item. This ensures that we keep our prices down as much as possible.
When you “check out” using your shopping cart, shipping options will be offered to meet your delivery needs, and then added to your final price.
On rare occasions, orders shipped to California, Arizona and Florida may be subject to possible delay due to random inspections conducted by the Department of Agriculture for those states. We do not offer any compensation for deliveries delayed by government inspections. Please schedule time-critical orders to arrive one day sooner.
Even though most of our flowers and leis are hardy and will last a long time after they arrive, we recommend that you have them shipped to arrive a day in advance of the day you will need to use them.
Aloha Hawaiian Flowers and Gifts will not be held responsible for shipping delays due to FedEx “service delay announcements”, weather, labor disputes, strikes, local service disruption, National service disruption, acts of war or acts of terrorism. To ensure that your flowers are in your possession for your special event, we strongly advise that you schedule your shipment to arrive the day before you will need to use it. We will not issue refunds for service delays indicated above.
There is a $15.00 charge that will be billed to you after delivery has occurred, in the event that you provide us with an incorrect or incomplete delivery address. Aloha Hawaiian Flowers and Gifts will not be held responsible for delivery delays due to incomplete addresses provided by customers.
Because our fresh flowers and leis are perishable, we recommend shipping to a home, neighbors home, or office where someone will be there to accept delivery. We cannot be responsible for flowers left all day on a porch in the sun. Mahalo for your understanding and cooperation!
